33rd Queen Sirikit Cup 2011

The 33rd Queen Sirikit Cup was held at New Delhi, India from 9th to 11th March 201.
This is a prestigious event in the Asia Pacific region where 14 countries take turns to host this tournament. Thailand was the originator of the Queen Sirikit Cup. Other countries are Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Malaysia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Chinese Taipei.
Singapore last hosted it in 1983 and it’s now our turn to host the event next year in March.
The Singapore players were Koh Sock Hwee, Kok Jo Ee and Low Si Xuan. The team did not play well enough and was ranked in 12th position. We lost by 1 stroke to Indonesia, Australia and Thailand. Korea emerged Champion again, making it the 4th year running.
