Singapore Ladies Golf Association History

Founded by golf enthusiast Ms. Jeanette Sim (left photo), Singapore Ladies Golf Association (SLGA) was established in 1979 with its main aim being to act as the governing body for ladies golf in Singapore.

One of the Association’s first international collaborations was being part of the inaugural group of Asian lady's golf associations to launch the Queen Sirikit Cup tournament. SLGA was instrumental to help Singapore host our very first leg of the Kosaido.

Since its formation, SLGA has organized social games and competitions for lady golfers.  It has also started an Evergreen section for senior lady golfers.  For Evergreens, SLGA organizes social games and offer Evergreen members concessions to play at certain Singapore golf clubs.
